A Bit About Me
I fell in love with birth work in 2014. After leaving Corporate America in 2021, I embarked on a journey, unveiling a call to support the birthing community. Then His Daughter’s Doula was born… get it “born”.
I received my birth doula certifications with Global Birth Educators Network and Royal Doula Academy. My calling is to shine a light on a woman’s innate ability to birth and journey with her throughout postpartum.
I love doing puzzles, traveling the world with my family, being in nature, and experiencing life through my kids' eyes.

What is a Doula?
A doula is a trained professional who provides emotional, physical, and informational support to families before, during, and after childbirth. Unlike medical providers, a doula does not perform clinical tasks or make medical decisions. Instead, their role is to walk alongside you—offering comfort, encouragement, and knowledge to help you feel confident and supported throughout your journey.
Doulas use evidence-based techniques such as breathing guidance, relaxation tools, positioning, and hands-on comfort measures to ease labor. They also serve as advocates, helping ensure your birth preferences are respected while working in harmony with your healthcare team.
Beyond birth, doulas extend their care into the postpartum period, providing reassurance, guidance, and practical support as you adjust to life with your new baby. Whether it’s answering questions, helping you process your experience, or simply being a steady presence, a doula is there to nurture both you and your family.
What to Expect From Me as Your Doula
During Pregnancy
I take the time to truly know you—your hopes, your concerns, and your story. Together, we’ll prepare for both birth and postpartum, exploring your preferences and creating a plan that feels right for your family. Through education, resources, and heartfelt support, I’ll ensure you feel confident and cared for before labor begins.
During Birth
When labor begins, I’ll be by your side continuously supporting you and your partner—whether at home, in a hospital, birth center, or another setting. My role is to bring calm and steadiness through comfort techniques, advocacy, and encouragement. From hands-on support to creating a peaceful environment, I’m there to help you feel safe, seen, and supported throughout your birthing experience.
During Postpartum
The journey doesn’t end at birth. I provide a couple of in-home and or virtual postpartum care visits. This includes emotional support, providing resources, or simply being a listening ear. The goal is to remain friends and offer support as needed, beyond the first year. How? You will gain access to our private community group, “Mama’s Circle,” where current and former clients have access to encourage, uplift, and bond with one another. This group allows for me to connect with my former clients. The priority with Mama’s Circle is ensuring you have access to a sisterhood as you recover, find your rhythm, and embrace this sacred new season with confidence and peace.
